Education and Certification
My Masters in Psychology, with an emphasis in School Counseling, is from Marymount University, in Arlington, VA. My undergraduate degree in American Studies is from Connecticut College, New London, CT.
I have achieved the certification of N.C.C. - a nationally certified counselor. Frequently, I supervise and mentor students working to earn their degree in school counseling. Additionally, I was selected to facilitate parenting education classes for parents referred by the juvenile court system.

Prior to my work in education and counseling, I was a public relations executive working with non-profits in Washington, DC.
My community is very important to me. Currently, I serve on the Waterfront Commission of the City of Alexandria and am Treasurer of Founders Park Community Association.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my children, taking long walks, reading, being with friends, and playing tennis.
